Wow, what an incredible year it has been for us so far!! We apologize for the delay in posting news. Here’s a quick update of just a few of the highlights recently.
The big news this spring is the very talented Tony Depillo of the NSCA achieved the ultimate goal for his category in becoming the Worlds Quickest and Fastest NHRA Super stocker. Check out our showcase column for details.
Charlie Booze (Booze Brothers Racing) shocked everyone as well when he shot in the 8.8 second zone in NMRA Hot Street trim. Yeeow!
Not to be outdone, Don Burton showed up from out of nowhere to grab one of our Nitrous Pro IV carburetors for his program and then immediately put his 10″ tire car into the previously unheard of 7.35 second zone.
In the two in a row category, Sam Vincent took the honors in Super Street Outlaw at the NMRA event in Bradenton and then backed it up at the NMRA event in Reynolds, GA consistently traveling in the 7.5 second zone.
Two in a row for Charlie Booze in Hot Street at the
Bradenton and Reynolds events as well.
At the NMRA Reynolds event Brad Meadows scored the Pure Street win at 10.35 seconds and check out the mph…135!
Jimmy Byrne (the nicest guy in drag racing) continued
his progress in the NMCA scoring a great win in Xtreme
Street.
Dale Pittman is working out his new car, or is his car working him out? Dale scored the Quick 8 win at Quaker city with a 4.3 second pass down a slippery track. With the car crossed up at the finish line and with the chutes out he narrowly scraped the wall after the finish line, earning a NASCAR stripe, and the win! Banzai!

In Top Sportsman on the West coast Randy Johnson took
