  • Part # VID Learn how to tune Professional engines! In this informative and detailed video we describe: BSFC numbers and analysis Distillation curves of fuels and using them to your advantage Analyzing RacePak Data Reading sparkplugs on regular fuels Reading sparkplugs on C-series fuels Adjusting Air bleeds Selecting sparkplug heat ranges Extensive dyno sheet analysis Fuel curves De-mystified Selecting a proper fuel Using ICT in the real world Altering individual cylinder timing without ICT Jetting with large plenums This video also includes a live demonstration on the wet-flow bench and much much more. Our subjects in the video range from 4150 tuning tips, Dominator sizing and calibration information to correcting and analyzing an IHRA Pro Modified racing engine, and we even give up the secrets to the perfect fuel curve, tested by the current IHRA Pro Stock World Champion. After watching and understanding all the information in this video you'll have completed your knowledge of tuning a high performance engine. This one has it all! There is so much information in this video, you will have to watch it over and over again. When placing your order, please be sure to select VHS or DVD.
  • Part # SPK1 Stop guessing! This is the best scope available for reading spark plugs. We're racers, so we even upgrade this one to have a super white light to make locating porcelain heat, timing marks and misting even easier. You say you don't know how to read all the information a spark plug provides? Well, you will now. Our tuning video is included. This video gives you an intense series of lessons in reading spark plugs and tuning your engine. You will watch this video over and over. Now you have the knowledge and the equipment...go tune that engine! Check out this link regarding reading spark plugs.
  • Part # 8805 If you are looking for the most consistent fuel pressure with minimal pressure drop under a load, you need to use a Bypass regulator.
Our Part # 8805 Billet bypass regulator is the best way to go to give you rock solid fuel pressure.
The regulator is a simple hook up and go setup that can be plumbed in many different ways.
Includes 3 -8AN fittings as shown.
Check out our 440 Fuel pump page (in our Racing Parts section) for various plumbing diagrams for the 8805 regulator.
  • Part # P7765 The Mach 2 Phenolic Shear plate for 4500 series intake manifolds is 1/2" tall. If you are mounting your SV1 on a 4500 series intake or Dual carb intake, the Mach 2 is just the ticket for maximizing power and throttle response. The Mach 2 is designed for the 110mm blade equipped SV1 to increase horsepower, improve low speed signal on low signal engine programs, increase throttle response and drastically improve part throttle signal generation. PLUS its phenolic so it acts as a heat insulator as well. A typical 700-900 h.p. engine will consistently show a 7-12 h.p. gain when employing the Mach 2 Shear plate.
  • Part # P12-704
  • Part # P7762 The Mach 3 Air Straightener for 4500 series intake manifolds is only 1/2" high to increase hood clearance (versus the 1" tall Mach 4 spacer). If you are mounting your SV1 on a 4500 series intake and even a Dual carb intake, the Mach 3 is just the ticket for maximizing power and throttle response without increasing your plenum volume OR decreasing hood clearance. The Mach 3 is designed for the 115mm blade equipped SV1 to increase horsepower, improve low speed signal on low signal engine programs, increase throttle response and drastically improve part throttle signal generation. Dyno testing on many 900 to 1300 h.p. engines has consistently shown us an average 10 h.p. gain when employing the Mach 3 Air Straightener.
  • Part # P26100 Air Pans fit between the carburetor and cowl area to keep engine heat away from and direct cool air to the carburetor.  A properly laid out air pan is typically worth 15-25 h.p. and really helps with consistency as underhood temps typically vary exponentially.  Oftentimes as much as 50-80 degrees higher over an outside ambient change of only 5-20 degrees. But building an air pan is tough and time consuming.  This pan really shortens your workload. With high side rails and and a long rear tray, this air pan requires only trimming to fit most applications. Actual Size: 24" Wide X 5" Tall X 28" Long Carb mounting flange is uncut so you can easily locate it in your engine bay.

  • Part # P26159/60 Its finally here the SV1 throttle bracket. This ONE bracket fits BOTH 4150 and Dominator bolt patterns. Its billet and has the return spring kit built right into the design. Its everything you need in one. Just choose between the factory GM end or the Lokar cable end.
  • Part # PN7785 If you have an SV1 and want to install an air cleaner our Billet air cleaner bracket makes the install easy. Its strong too, cycled over 1000 times with a 100 lb. load without failure. The bracket extends up and away from the venturi to allow incoming air to fill and straighten. $24.00 includes mounting hardware.
  • Part # P2000 These Anti Reversion or Shear Plates for 2" bore base plate carburetors (1050 cfm and 1150 cfm Dominator Carburetors are typically 2" bore) are the only way to fight reversion problems.  Reversion problem symptoms are: 1.  Poor throttle response 2.  Poor cylinder to cylinder control of fuel 3.  Difficulty in properly jetting engine 4.  Lazy shift recovery and acceleration These plates simply bolt on between your carburetor and intake manifold and are only 1/2" thick at the deck and the reversion ledges extend down into the intake area a further 1/2". 2" bore Anti Reversion plates: $85.00 each (Gaskets included).
