Well it’s official.  The fastest car at the Rolex 24 is not fuel injected, it’s not a carbon fiber sports prototype or even a Porsche or a Ferrari.  It’s
American muscle all the way as the Pro-Systems carbureted, CRD powered, Derhaag motorsports Corvette is the fastest car at Daytona for this years running of the Rolex 24.  Justin Bell clocked the day’s
quickest time, driving the No. 40 Xtremelens Corvette to a lap of 1:49.394 (117.155mph).  Qualifying is over, it’s in the books. Great work guys!  Now you have a long day ahead of you!  Good luck.

Down in Houston Mike Steele (developer of Edelbrocks newest nitrous nozzle) was sporting our latest and greatest Nitrous Pro-IV dominators.  Mike bolted them on just the way we handed them to him and obliterated his previous best E.T.’s.  At 2800 lbs, Mikes’ little
632 scored a 1.01 60 foot time and a 6.70 E.T.  Watch out for him this year in NMCA competition.  He’s fast and the tune-up is on the “Super Safe” setting.  Look for him to lean on it and land in the winners circle
this year. Good Luck Mike!

Look for Jarrod Warner to be back in the saddle this year in NMCA competition as well.  He will be sporting a 706 built by Steve Morris racing.  Visit them at www.stevemorrisracingengines.com  Jarrods car will be sporting a pair of our Nitrous Pro-IV carburetors as
well.  The Warner team is a family operation (my favorite kind) so stop in and say hi when you see them at the races.  They’re good people.  Good luck to them this season.
