Fuel injection is out and carburetors are in at the Rolex 24 hour race.  Derek Bell, Justin Bell, Simon Gregg and Kenny Wilden will be driving the Xtremelens.com sponsored #40 Corvette at this years Rolex 24 Hour race.  Yes, you guessed it, PRO SYSTEMS carburetion is onboard.

We built a special one-off design for the Rolex 24 hour race that is offering up incredible fuel mileage and is no slouch in the performance arena either.  The
car posted the fastest times in testing for its class prior to the upcoming event.  CRD Engine Development out of Concord, NC (704.792.1955) contacted us about
this project late last year and we took on all comers to edge out everyone and EFI to be onboard.

Using the latest in wet-flow technology and fuel curve development equipment (the same equipment we use to develop all of our designs) we went to work on the
project.

Then when the curve was developed and we had the atomization patterns we were looking for at WOT, we took it to the track.  There we developed the sweep
ratios to offer us up great fuel mileage and throttle response on this road racing design WITHOUT the use of power valves.  Power valves are prone to failure and
in 24 hour racing any variable that can be eliminated, should be.  So alot of effort was spent developing a design that didn’t need them.  We hit a home-run.

The design really shined as the CRD powerplant was very driveable and is offering up excellent fuel mileage and power in race trim.  Being the fastest guys at the track was a great start at the recent test session for the event…now lets see if we can make it to the end…it’s a long race.  Get some sleep guys.

Then go get ’em!

Enjoy the photo now, as 24 hours of racing later this
car will look pretty rough.  Visit justinbellgt.com
