There are only two of these carburetors on the planet. They're a brand new design. The wide open throttle metering system was developed on the drag strip (thanks Rick Moroso of Moroso performance for use of his World Championship winning corvette). Visit them at www.moroso.com
The rather bizarre transfer and part throttle system (a reversing recycling circuit) was developed/fine tuned on the road course by yours truly. Its a very responsive "in your face" carburetor design.
Top notch engine builders CRD Engine Development (704-792-1955) were so pleased with the performance of our brand new PRO-SYSTEMS
carburetor design for use in Trans Am competition that they immediately installed carburetor #1 on Justin Bells car in Miami. The design scored a second place finish for Bell.

Now in Atlanta, carburetor #2 was setting atop another CRD powered car, this one driven by Butch Leitzinger. This would be the carburetors debut in a Trans Am qualifying session. Well, Chief Engineer Buddy Fey gave Butch an excellent car as it immediately grabbed the pole position setting a new track record in the process. On race day Butch dominated the race en route to a certain win until third gear went out with only 7 laps to go. Even without third gear Leitzinger held onto second vaulting the rookie into second place in Championship points.

Needless to say we're expecting great things out of this design and believe there's a bit more power left in it. A special thanks to Phil "I'm retired" Harper
for technical advisement on this design.
A variation of this model is slated for use in Winston cup and dirt competition and we couldn’t be happier to debut it on the pole in Atlanta.
What better way to test a Trans-Am design than with a
Trans-Am.
Shown above is one of our shop test cars. This one is equipped with a full frame, 17" rims, Ford nine inch rear, a high powered 383 roller engine, Real time digital display wide band O2's and onboard G-meters. It sure makes tuning in designs a breeze. Hard data in the real world is invaluable.
