The season sure has been flying by and the Pro Systems
carbureted cars are doing the same.  Its one thing to
get one end of the record book, it really says
something to get both ends.

Tony Bischoff of BES racing engines did just that with
his Cougar in NMRA Pro 5.0 competition.  Setting the
records at 6.615 @ 213.47 mph.

Tomy Bischoff’s BES Powered Cougar

Not to be outdone Bruce Maichle took his Firebird and
grabbed both ends of his class record books too at
8.621 and 159.44 mph.

But it doesn’t stop there, Jeremy Gillam stepped up
and took the NMCA Mean Street class by storm and has
both ends locked at 10.255 and 132.57 mph.

Nope its not over yet, Charlie Booze reset the records
in NMRA Hot Street at 8.799 and 153.45 mph!

Those are just the guys that set boths ends of the
records.

Sam Vincent shocked everyone in Super Street
Outlaw which is a turbo favored class when he shot his
car into the 7.4 second Zone.  Wow that guy is good.
Sam now holds the SS/O record at 7.45 seconds.

Speaking of shocking.  In the NHRA  Division 6 race in Mission BC Canada, 3 of the 4 cars in the semi-finals
of Top Sportsman used Pro Systems carburetion and Bob Johnson power.  Man thats domination.  Once again, it was Bob Johnson getting the win for Wally number 19!
He now takes the lead in Top Sportsman in his division.

19 Wallys so far for Bob Johnson’s Top Sportsman Cavalier

As a fun sidenote: We have been doing some development
work for a Ford sponsored team that is making a hard
charging effort at winning the 2007 SCCA Runoffs.   So,
out of curiousity, we entered our American Sedan test
car into an actual road racing event at Sebring International Raceway to see how it would fare against the competition.  The vehicle, which was prepared and crew chiefed by Pro Systems employee Brad Hosmer, had a great weekend to say the least.  The Felice powered, Brake Man braked, HMR Mustang driven by company President Patrick James came home with a #1 Qualifying spot and won the event by  over 10 seconds.
