The IHRA Spring Nationals were off an running and in
Top Dragster it was really good for our team as BOTH
cars in the final were Pro Systems carbureted.

Marco Abruzzi (abruzziracing.com) took the win over a
redlighting Chad Hedgecock of Eagle Racing Engines (by
only two thousandths of a second…ouch)  Marco ran
dead on his dial to show he was there to win.

Speaking of there to win, it was a serious battle in
NMRA Hot Street at the Bradenton event as two Pro
Systems carbureted cars driven by Charlie Booze and
Robbie Blankenship were duking it out for the record.
It ended with Robbie the victor, running the fastest
pass in Hot Street history at 8.792 to Charlie Booze’s
scarcely slower 8.795.  WOW!  A coat of wax may have
made the difference.

In NMCA Pro Stock,  Pro Systems carbureted cars fed
the top three qualifiers.  Bruce Maichle won the event
over Butch Kemp.  Once again we were batting 1000 with
both cars in the final.

OK, its our busy season we’re back to work.  See you
next month.
