We’ve posted a lot of SV1 stuff lately. But our Dominators and 4150’s are fast too. Ron Rhodes of Rhodes Custom Auto proves that fact as he was Number One qualifier and able to take home the win in the 275 heads-up class at Atco Raceway this past weekend. Ron uses one of our Dominators on his 414 c.i. SBC with 23* heads and ran as fast as a 5.18@ 136.54 to take the big trophy home. Go Ron, the car looks great and congrats on your 147 mph 1/4 mile pass on Speed TV’s PASS TIME…you looked like a movie star….well the car looked great…let’s leave it at that.
Chris Carrico just grabbed the Points lead in the NHRA Super Quick Series. Chris uses a pair of our Dominators we built for him last year on a 638 Big Chief engine. Chris won this series last year and he’s doing well again in 2010. Great job Chris!
Andy McDermid (one of our Test Drivers) is batting 1000 this year in SCCA American Sedan class (like Trans AM of the old days). Andy and his Felice Racing Engines powered 4150 series Pro Systems carb equipped Mustang have won every event entered this year (5 out of 5). Andy dominated the hotly contested SCCA June Sprints. Grabbing the pole and taking the win. Congrats Andy!!
